Happy New Year from Brian and Stacy

Happy New Year, 2015!

As I look back at 2014, I am amazed at all the beauty in our lives.  The moments of pure wonder, the abundance of gratitude and the amazing richness of our lives.

2014 was an amazing year and here are a few of our highlights....

The intoxication of the Seattle Seahawks swept through the entire northwest in January as our beloved Seahawks won their first (of hopefully many) Super Bowls.

We hosted Brian's brother, Kerry from Honolulu Super Bowl weekend and had a blast sharing the beauty of our city all decked out in Seahawks blue!

Brian (along with 500,000 other Seahawk's fans) braved temperatures in the low 20's for the Super Bowl parade through downtown just days after winning the Lombardi trophy.  It was a memorable February for the Emerald City.

Chick and I hosted my Pop, Steve and Brian in Portland for the first week of the NCAA "March Madness" Basketball Tournament.  4 days of 12+ hours of non-stop basketball!  Is there anything left to say?

In April, Brian and I celebrated my #45 with a flight up to the San Juan Islands (Friday Harbor).  A trip I had won in a contest sponsored by Seattle Magazine.

It was a beautiful weekend exploring one of the most beautiful places in the United States.

Our travels continued through the late Spring.  My Cousin, Taryn and her new Husband, Jesse came out to Portland from Kentucky for the first leg of their honeymoon.

We shared with them a few brewpubs and the historic Columbia River Gorge Highway (including Multnomah Falls) during their visit to Portland.

The middle of May, Brian and I took a train adventure to Denver, CO aboard the Coast Starlight (to Davis, CA) and then on the California Zephyr into Denver.

One of our highlights was a visited with friends, Russ and Sue and some of Brian's college buddies.

Our month was complete with a bucket list trip to Boston, MA and a game at historic Fenway Park!

We were so grateful to spend one whole day exploring Boston, walking the historic Freedom Trail and meeting Ben Franklin!

Summer in the northwest really is fabulous...and we were busy!  We rode bikes, took a historic tour of covered bridges over Father's Day weekend, celebrated 4th of July with my Mom, rooted on our Seattle Mariners with my Parents, and attended our first MLS soccer match.

We spent Father's Day in Eugene on a historic covered bridge tour of the Willamette Valley.

The Museum of Flight tour with my Parents in September was one of the highlights of our amazing summer!

Our first MLS soccer game with friends, Bryan and Maddie was hopefully not our last.

Aloha from Hawaii!

How grateful to be able to spend time in such a beautiful place and an extra special treat to see Kerry and his wife, Julie.

We split our 8 days between Oahu and Maui.

Brian spent his birthday snorkeling with the turtles!

Another train adventure, this time with Chick to Chicago!

We had a blast exploring the city!  Who knew that it would be near 65 in Chicago the third week of October.
Summer stretched into the first week in October!

Late October brought the rains back to Seattle, but we didn't let it dampen our spirits as we hunted for pumpkins in Snohomish!

Wrapping up the holiday season in style with friends and family!

Brian, Stacy, Kelly, Rob and Picard

Thanks for being a part of our lives this year!
