Recipe of the Week: Asian Green Bean Salad

I love Emeril and a few weeks ago I saw him prepare this wonderful salad on Good Morning, America.

This is a perfect side dish for summer, especially when green beans are at their peak!


Asian Green Bean Salad


  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed, cooked until crisp-tender, and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons crushed toasted peanuts
  • Salt and pepper 

  • Directions:

    In a bowl toss all ingredients together. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve at room temperature.
