A few weeks ago - Brian and I decided to plant an impatient garden beneath the pear tree in the W. Seattle back yard. The grass doesn't grow well there and I thought if we placed a border around the tree that it would make a nice area for flowers.On the West Seattle fridge is this picture of Brian and his Dad, Al. They planted an impatient garden at the Lee home in Delaware many years ago.
