Located within Lane County's Howard Buford Recreation Area, the Mt. Pisgah Arboretum lies between the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and the slopes of Mt. Pisgah.
Last Saturday, my parents, Brian and I did some exploring! 
Not three steps down the first trail - I spotted a very small doe. She didn't take to my "stalking" her like a National Geographic photographer, but I just had to get a picture.
This Arboretum is a 209-acre living tree museum. 
The riverside trails, quiet paths through evergreen forests, water garden teeming with life, bright wildflower meadows, and open views across oak savannas delight all ages.
