Menu Plan Monday: Birthday Week -Short Menu

There is only a very short Menu Plan Monday for Rebecca Lane this week. I am turning the big 4-0 and am heading off to Napa with Brian to celebrate. I am also preempting this weeks Recipe of the Week too (there will be more exciting posts from the road).

Last week's grocery store trip totaled $74.51 and I bought some extra items on Friday for $44.19 so the total for last week is: $118.70 so almost $20 over budget. Our total for 2 weeks is: $208.98 - which is almost $10 over budget for the month.....not too bad.

Sunday: BBQ'd Pork Loin with Roasted Cauliflower and Creamy Cole Slaw (last week's Easter dinner that was preempted by Brian's appendix removal)
Monday: C.O.R.N. (Clean Out the Refrigerator Night). Tuesday we head for Napa, CA
